settle off a last policy.. last step to restructuring policies

wake up earlier today to go to raffles place to cancel off my insurance policy @ prudential.
its the last one. had to travel back to ubi for work so along the way i decide to grab a sandwich @ bk. had to take a few buses to get to panda's office coz i oso pack a share for him.. i was so dumb , miss a stop to alight n i walked about 20mins under the hot sun to his office resulting in a little blister... reached office ard 11.30 and boss had to ask me claim half day instead.. n i only took 2 hrs time off. its not very worth it. should have even returned later at about 1.30 which is the offical hour which i should report for work

i was out earlier dinner at lor 17 with huiru for dinner when her bf from indonesia called her by skype.n then sort of demanded her to go home. and that ended our bitching session earlier
shes too obedient, n i decided not to interfere much with her since shes more than willing to accept such a person.
i hope she makes a good decison and something will come out of it after he s back in singapore permanently

sports & wii day

while im writing , both panda and hao didi is playing xbox @ indiana jones. hahaha
wake up fairly early today at abt 8 odd .. watched drag me to hell last night. had a little bit of issue with mr panda coz he was very late in fact he wanted to meet up despite meeting his magic pals.
haha we did manage to meet up @ iluma and watch the midnite show
i manage to kop a pillow to his place coz i had to get back to lock up my door and get a few skincare stuff ..
things accomplished today.

cooked dishes for lunch within an hour
teriyaki chicken, tomato with cheese and omelete, spinach with oyster and mushroom
thats for rewarding mr panda for being a kind ahamad and babysitter with me today coz we brought out hao di di my nephew to cycle and play xbox @ panda's
i walked the dog today early in the morning ata bout 9/ just now at abt 5 odd brought wang wang downstairs for a walk again.
later tonite, joanne gonna give a little treat at swenson's
lucky for the late lunch. hahaha now we are still not that hungry yet
i guesss joanne will knock off only much later today...

IJP application to backroom positions

i emailed juliana through email earlier abt 7pm. took me a day to consider n then i stop my procastination and my doubts about myself n i went forward to type out the application and send online to her.
hopefully i get shortlisted for interview.
july 1 09 will be my one year annivesary with Ubi folks
we will be plannig a celebration for working today
there were 11 of us from cfs. now the original team is left with 10 of us coz little lily has resigned last week
by the time i had dinner its past 8 and by the time i settle dinner with my fren in my neighbourhood its already 9.30pm
hopefully i can pass the requirements for the transfer and if i can go back tostandard working timing. i can consider unisim next year

i got a really long day at work.. 10days of leave = a lot of shit to clear
today i was just on time for work
some time to catch up to clear email for this period of abscence
got close to 50emails for work and some personal email
the short trip was fun but tiring
i just did an O2 mask to moisturize my face
the air was cool and airy. we took a cable ride as recommended by my lsb
overall travelling with him was still considered enjoyable . n ya we had a lot of junk..
we didnt have a lot of time in genting however we managed to visit the snow city which we failed to take pic
we bought a pic from the cablecar ride which was not so worth it coz i look so fat and ugly. wat a waste
gambling aint wat we like so we focus on food , rides and movies
outdoor theme park was someting i didnt go for coz i didnt want to risk puking coz we had a hearty buffet in the morning.
time was tight , we had less than 24hrs in genting in 2 days trip
travelling 8hrs total of 18hours is not gd at all
looking forward to another holiday again this time will fly to hongkong to meet our one and only ms heng whos currently residenting in new territories while serving her employment contract with GAP..
knocked off ard 9pm today. was exhausted..

recap on my inital sweet days with him

its been 5 months since i met him
lots of things have changed
recently we had a bit of issues going on
i managed to sort things out with him and highlight the issues out with him
was reading the lovey doey events we spent together , the pics we took . food we had and the messages we had as well
i think it does cheer me up
earlier i was on my way to tabao dinner when my neighbour asked me to pop in her place n she offered to ask me to stay in her house for diner instead.. such a sweet lady
i had a simple dinner with her .. but in end i went downstairs to tabao noddle due to the sudden hunger bang..
hes having exams in the coming 2 weeks. nothing's much changed so far except that i gradually grew to know the flaws .. hahaha

i slack the whole day on sun at home trying to get away from the crowd . town and even frens. it was nice just chilling at home.

today is my first nite back
miss those days when we gossip in the nite with landlord , drinking in the kitchen and smoking at the balcony..
she used to reminisce abt the good old days, how she wished her marriage would turn out to be better
panda and i had a brief outing in ikea where he took up some time after his test to meet up with me
i dislike his jokes sometimes,it challenges my ego and i m not happy about it
at times hes crude and he think its funny
i guess tis is how couple works. irritate each other occasionally and this is how couples spend the rest of their lives together bickering, complaining abt each other. seeing their flaws.. condemn a bit and the n move on.
the moving out and the moving back episode was definitely not fun
the joys of staying out is fantastic
i had a nice family dinner with bro 2 n family. its been such a long time i seen so much dishes on the table
however homecooked food can never be compromised to outside dishes
saw bro 2 's new domestic helper
her inital is bk.. funny person , bro jokes that she remind him of liang po po .. always walk with a hunch back to prevent from blocking us while we watch tv. tats so bad of bro to tease his own helper in the house
just like bro3 n jan were arguing some small issue n it can go on n on in the car..
i have seen myself how a gamer works.
theres only more room for compromising and trying to strike some balance here and there
i cant fool myself that theres no problem about this, thankfully hes someone who exercise some discretion over certain addiction

countdown to 2 nites before heading home

its been a good old 4 months away from home. i decided not to regret in future had i not been so wilful with my inital decision to enjoy and embrace freedom.
freedom comes with an expensive price and if i were to abuse it, it comes with inconsiderable consequences as well
just came back from panda ' s place. hes having his lab test this week and i decided not to bother him much . however he offer for me chill in at his place. i ended up catching a little nap at his place in order not to disrupt his revision
i dunno explain either. i enjoy his presence but then somehow i get uneasy when he does something funny
an ex is an ex for a reason i believe, n i hold the same values that exs can be good friends as well
if i were to sort it out this way there should be an easier way to solve this issue
i miss my old bed , sometimes the cranky neigbour at times
gb is a area of mature estates. community club services and some cats and dogs freaking out occassionally
last nite there was a big wind blowing around 11 odd and it was very strong winds caused from sumatra , indonesia
sometimes i hope my dad appreciates me better now that he knew living alone at this old age can be rather torturing
this sun will be my 5 th month with eng pheng and hes been there to fix my occasionaly computer defacts, my outburst of emotional outbreaks be it for work or family or with him.

block leave at home and some shopping & errands

i got a super long break from apr9 till now. its 17april.. almost 10days of break
did some errands. shopping. movies . spent quite a bit of money for entertainment .. once in a while , i think its still acceptable . dads still as stubborn as usual
hes a big spender but hes stil caught in the dilenma of working or nanny for my brother. i hope he dun need to stay alone.
ideally hes get a regular steam of rental income. or even if he doesnt he can opt for some part time to occupy his hours..
if not he end up more n more senile.. i hope things will get better when the baby niece arrives .. dad has something to occupy himself
if he still continue to help my useless bro at his own expense, he will be worse off than him and we cant help to cushion these in the long run
maybe parents r like that. they worry all the time for their kids
hopefully one day my dad will be happy staying with the grandkids.. or doing some part time free of those worries n distraction from the ever troublemaker..

i been a nanny for the past 2 days in the house.. bringing the didi for breakfast.. being disturbed by him in the morning by waking me up so to get him out of the house for food n so forth
i got a new mouse at the megatech fair at expo last evening with mr panda..
hes also too tired to hang out for too long either.
had a fairly good breakfast with my family dad n kids @ sims drive. even panda joined me ..

resuming my nocturnal lifestyle of sleeping at 3am.. went to maharaja in cuppage with the gals for dinner.. n they were encouraging me to switch to department instead..will give it some thought. havent been wearing corporate wear for the past 3yrs or so. i dun feel like i m working in a bank sometimes since i m so unglam with dressing these days..
sharleen has been under the non performing matrix which is quite a sad thing.. her corporate secretaries are having some legal issue n her source of contacts for leads has been affected for a few months under performing while the rest r delivering beyond the target..she might be asked to leave if she still cant deliver the numbers..
i had this mocktail @ alley bar.. which consists of choya green apple juice,apple, grape and some other concoctions.. its a sweet drink which looks like red bean soup after the ice cubes melted.
dinner @ maharajah was nice, it Indian cuisine. with curries , masala. nann.. n this smashed spinach with tomato .. looks like some baby food which u see in a Heinz bottle.. dark green n chalky.. reminds me of chlorophyll..
the service was good.. n food was relatively nice compared the one i ate 10 yrs ago in little india was far better.
i havent had much plans for my block while some of my colleague havent planned their trip. one of them is going to perth to visit her friend whereby lodging will be provided..
as for me. my fren whos in hk, worth considering but i dunno if i m willing to burn my pocket then.
tml will be the last working day for me for this week
unless boss ask me to cancel my leave for saturday.. which i m unwilling to do so..
hopefully tml ends early and everyone can knock off on time ..
been wanting to get some new tops since i dispose some to ubi lodge some nfp org..
n also nice comfy scandals .. to go along with a cute pedicure..
my feet r so neglected.. they look terrible..

its been a couple of weeks since i wrote anyting decent .. i manage to sort out my finances after vb and i decided to have a clean bill free of debts for this year now. time to sort out my finances and save up. hopefully to c a 5 digit figure soon..
2 weeks ago i followed panda to machap baru.. a small village area in malacca. met up with his ah po.. yiyi.. jiu jiu.
makan trip feast
came back with mango. jam bu lak ( jackfruit ) the trip was quite rushed sat afternoon n we came back on sun nite..
pheng n myself have been going together for the past 4 months going to 5 or so.. and coming 15th april will be my 4th month of rental to landlord. after a while things get accustomed. staying in bedok away from town is also no big deal although most of my friends still stay in the east with one or two staying more to the west or north area.. but who cares.
the cycle of dating
from singlehood---> attached--> marriage---> kids----> parenthood---> retirement
its all in a cycle from being someone 's daughter, wife. mother. and so forth.
with so many frens dashing to be hitched .. becoming mothers and also hearing stories of unhappy marriages. its like a bet.. some who choose the rite one is happily ever after . some who didnt jsut ended not that blissful afterall
my dad sort of accepted that i was not going to move back home afterall after 4 months apart and occasionally seeing each other for dinner. coming weel i think i will try to spend some time back at my dad 's place to clear the remaining lot of my old lecture notes ..
going back to uni seems tough now.. with expense staying outside being a huge chunk of expenses.
hoohoo... 2 more days to a long weekend.. yippeee..
craving for a nice pedicure. havent did it since cny.. maybe i can check out the one in my neighbourhood.

was so moody recently. cant describe why either.. coping with the extra expenses has been challenging..
the recent counselling session has left me unsure of my confidence
surely my appraisal was affected...
these few days i should try to just relax and enjoy.. too much negative energy is not healthy
after elena asked me out for coffee, her moody energy also spread to me.. maybe thats y.
i should just go and visit dad later. visit the bank to settle the last payment and spend some time with him and have a gd dinner with my buddies tonite
