We are well settled in the new humble shed. Although there are some minor items which need to be removed or thrown away. Or even new sound bar to enhance the overall look and view cum ambience of the house. Our house may not be the most ostentatious or glamorous. Overall the look of the tree house has been quite successful. It has their hinge of cozy factor in it.
These days,most of the fom facebook postings these days are on the musings on people's meals, childhood pictures or their happy moments of their juniors. This just translate something we have evolved. Today is not just only on yourself , you. Its more on a we, our. Family and friends. We are evolving to our mid 30s and our body has indeed degenerate a little, Yes I do find myself getting old and tired after work and i cant focus on heavy reading or on the tablet for more than 30 mins. 20 mins seems to be the maximum during bed time, this just voice down to the productivity and concentration efforts. It also then translates to another phase of life we ought to go through after enjoying the blissful just u n me for the past 6 yrs.
Our union together was not the best smooth sailing, but i must comment. It was the most varied, fun loving and non pretentious moments together. We were best buddies, best pals and partners. I could picture myself running after a bunch of our kids and sit down at the beach and spread butter on the bread. While the duo pair of boys of gals just splash water and build sand castles and enjoy some private family time together.
Probably its time to get the juniors involved. Its not because of seeing children pictures on FB. that you decide to pull yourself together to accept the cons of having children, likebeing poorer, busier, angrier than usual and efforts to put food on the table and to educate and nurture the young. Its far from just a "bao zhang" like what my mil quotes. Children need attention love and care, its not just a dog which you can feed him 2 times a day, 2 walks together.
In another 3 months time, we could meet a new member, as my BIl is getting married. Lots of loose ends to tie, it will eventually build character and responsibility to build up a project. My intutive nature tells me she would definitly not be a easy person to get along because of her ultra pettiness and her sharp defensive innate characteristic would clash badly with the fussy calculative mil. For this team to work, one must give in and that candidate would not be either of the them and that would be the poor accomodating husband cum son.
The new banking working environment in DBS has gone by in 2 months. close to that. We have the usual gossipy and emo team mates, The one who know it all, the quiet and timid ones and the loud and gregarious bunch of warm people. They just never fail to brighten a gloomy day and bring a smile to the team..

Housewarming party 2014 has ended 13072014 12-6pm
With lots of smiles and laughter , we ended today with massive cleaning , scrubbing, washing and more washing to clean the interiors and exteriors well.
It was a joint family event among the 2 families. I believe it is a most enjoyable event for this year for both of us. We seldom gather with our families this much.
Lots of useful gifts, desserts were given. My brother bought fruits, lychee, watermelon and tupperware for all relatives to tabao back.

23062014 9th mth married and 1 mth settled with CBG loans. DBS
Hahaha. my evil plot is soon unfolding. Just another 6 more nights n we are done with Ubi.
A lot of effort put in. manpower. $$. words simply cant explain my euphoric reaction.

Today is 11.7.2014 Friday, also known as 7-eleven day but there are no attractive buys for me to shop.
It is my 3rd week settling in Hougang, this friendly little estate with cute neighbours. Also to our route in independence, still ironing out our differences on how we tidy the house, cook, do marketing budgeting or how we place our personal items in the house.
We had countless arguments over $, over cash flow on what should be paid, how it should be done, what parties format to organise for house-warming. Nevertheless, we managed to get by and get things off the list one by one.
No doubt, we still commit mistakes being human due to the lack of experience. We wasted marketing food stuff from the wet market, we throw a few vegetables because the structure of our fridge is the reverse. Unlike the conventional on top and vegetables below, our fridge was the reverse. Therefore we had some problem adjusting. Along the renovation period, the quarter accomplished was collection of keys
Major fight, within 2nd wk, I had thoughts of decoupling and selling off this house after 5 yrs to avoid responsibilities. Oh well, Md Bong is a challenging character to stay with, due to her mood swings, calculative and self centred nature. She does has her good points, but still its a nightmare foreseeing she will mess up the equilibrium and cleanlinless we built up.

As far as I recall about my mum, I dont even remember her being overly calculative over certain issues. N to stay with such a calculative person by nature, I tink I will need to get used to her meagre attitude.

First post for2014.. officially ah soh..in my31th yr.. crossed my30thmark ..4months ago.. still scrimping n saving for the past few months only to spend it for home in the next couple of 3 mths
Married since 29092013..staying together since coming back from honeymoon...07102013.Today is 16042014...survived 6months with the in laws. scrape through like about 10interviews since Feb 2014.. only to realise this job is not for me after the Oct performance review which I had a personal setback on my own work capability after 10years of worklife. incorrect letters.info given. typical complaints escalation n templates.. hope it w end soon w Ge n nt repeat..
Managed to keep a low profile on the work and maintain low key. Kept quiet most of the time and just did the rest..and knock off on time and report work on time.. Ordmode n tada. 4more working days and end of Ge call centre.. to DBs. finally shedding some light.
Made new friends with Parkviewers.new home.. our 3rd gathering in 3yrs n possibly the last one before each of us get in our own lives busy with our family and homes.
Somehow to blend in Wang Culture and start afresh w dbs. To get a nice 3 week break ahead..counting down to bonus in 2 days
Furniture shopping was indeed fun but tiring ...a wonderful journey ahead. seems that everything planned has been quite predictable. Only to maintain good health for e lovely but gluton PandA.To ensure he stays pink of health despite the diabetic medication he consumes on the long run...
Comes my resolution to maintain below 70kg and be less cholesterol diet.. get myself confirmed in 3mths. by mid July.. get accustomed to working in a bank.. and pay off the renovation n hdb loans..
recalling the fear of jobless and unble to repay the liabilities without good health and job is really a scary scary thought. n the feel of vulnerability n financial instabilities could put a toil.. i recall unable to have a gd lunch n nt enjoying my weekends.. scary thoughts.led to bad nights n series of nightmares..
everyday i login to hdb website and pray keys ..have a fixed date n the renovation routine can key in sooner.. that we could finally have our own breathing space n lead independent marriage life on our own. Counting down to the days.. end Apr keys to finished house.. 2 more months .. hope to be able to relocate by Mid ~End 'June w a fresh start. new job. new home.cozy corner without the gaming noise hazzard.. as well as a good cozy drama corner w my nicely bought Celini sofa. n dinning..hopefully another 60days.. my days of smelly laundry would soon be over as I learn to cope with new challenges and diversities as a newly home owner.0133hrs 16042014..bro worm's birthday
