after an awaited break, spent the day on spa on thurs with lily.
got some shopping items.. great splurge would be a sintex cool gel bolster and and seahorse memory pillow.. i also got myself some new lingerie from marks n spencer..
luckily its on sale. if not i would not have bought it.. although its a bit costly i still had a good nite rest last nite. coz my body was aching all over after cycling @ ecp with lsb on fri
sat would be sinful meal .. Ben n Jerry with the gals.. gossiping session @ sakae sushi was kinda good also

met up with mq. meng. mike and his wife joyce, cuiting my psch fren at meng's place.
meng really had great determination in sliming from 134kg to 90kg
incredible..
he was sharing how he did it.. 40kg is like so impossible for normal ppl like us..
hes got a great career in bintan at nirvana resort as the asst financial controller. he doesnt have to spend a lot over them stays in a villa works like a dog ..6days a week sometimes 7.. only like such rare occasion.. he comes back to sg for a few days to spend some time with his parents and friends like us
watched mike 's wedding video.. quite funny person.. he marrieda hongkie wife and we see how hes being "teased" with his lousy cantonese and forced to read an wedding oath for his wife.. zhida also bought a new car.. n again yixuan his wife is a nut case. she refused to reveal the price of the car she bought although it was a weekend car.. i m glad after some time apart . all of them are doing well
even mike is quiting oc to join sing health for his future plans of completing his mba. although hes a little reluctant coz the bank might counter offer a fatter salary or base pay to lure him back,, sun banking is not suitable for family man like him afterall
joyce is most happy that he quited.. hahahahaha more time for her

yesterday morning i manage to drag myself up to bed. went to bed around 4. was snoozing my alram from 7.50 till 8.20am. coz i had to make a morning call to mr panda/
of all the sun we had , i think we cover a lot of activities together as a couple
although he was so unwilling to drive to macRichie.. i manage to convince him to hike with me.. had to call till his phone almost burst
we started the trip bickering in the car over directions.. we almost had to uturn back coz i cant read a map well
we were so close yet so far from the treetop walk carpark
neverthelss we still covered about 6km togther..
n i find it quite silly personally to have hike in the rain
if only we had completed it . but i knew its hard on him
during the walk we also had an argument about the wallking the way to the treetop walk which is about 12km back and forth to the carpark we parked..
well when he turn pale i was worried what if i were to really reach the top something bad might happen.. so even though i was a little disappointed we still had a good time. complaining along the way gorging at the hunks n babes who ran past us. those who had good stamina.
we ended up eating sandwich i prepared on one of the benches . which is known as the jerling trail, a flatter route which we could have taken. an easier way that has no terrain..
it was nice to experiences the contours of the hill nonetheless
mr panda has a little secret.hes developed this special "dislike" against tomato..
and i have a fetish for adding tomatoes to the food i cooked because it has vitamins and antioxidents against cancer..
so what is tomato really
a fruit or a vegetable.. who cares..
it tastes good with anything . pizza ., fish.. sandwiches.. whatever.. my personal fav ingredient besides fishballs.
it was simple joy . feeding some of my bread to the fishes in the pond..
ya.. we tested it out. fishes are dumb , they eat anything
including tomatoes.. hahahaah
after which we headed back his place for a nap.. went to had a simple porridge buffet @ lion city hotel.. we fell for the promotion 2 for 1 buffet n its supposed to be 2 buffets for 1 price.. not buy 2 get 1 free diner.. hahahah
which was fathers day.. but unfortunately i didnt acc my dad n he oso didnt stay at home with mother panda
it was a nice stroll with him in explanade after dinner .. to collect his ndp tickets ..
hes always so heng.. managed to ballot the ndp actual day tickets
for some time.. i miss the joy of taking a walk with him
coz i cant seem to get him out of the console set ..
he spent a sun with me and it s great
after the ticket collection , we sat down at this open space theatre and watch some local rock band concert. half the time i cant hear exactly what the lead singer was trying to sing.i cant decipher what was it as well but i rememeber the melody was not too bad.. pleasant to the ear
for a moment , i envisage the person beside me to grow old with me together.. while i continue to laugh at his tummy n as well as he does with my double chin syndrome
someone to take care of me .. bear with my stinky farts and obsessive compulsive behavour that i display as a "young lady" or a part time "buddy"relationship with him
he has his shortcomings so far. hes impatient with me on the road when i give wrong direction or when i m lost for direction
but somehow he still gives in a little although he will nag about it and scold me till the cows come home..
all and all some bicker and fights help us to grow..
i m worried about his weight. his health i the long run . thats y i always encourage to lead a more balanced healthier lifestyle.
its not an easy path.. the life of non carbo and sugarless diet is indeed very texing and irritable..
i was trying to finish up a leftover salad and half way through i got a bit sick of the meatless diet.
i m also trying to cut down on my meat intake ,and reduce my sugar..
i was so tired n exhausted with a series of strenuous and intensive workouts.. i fainted on my bed at 12 last evening
ended later today for work.. was listening from the banking hall.. Roland n Florence were spinning cash. from the time of 6 till about 8 non stop... cash was finally balanced and i was so eager to get out of the bank..
we had too many servicing to do. my copier got into some shit and i managed to fix it with some fingers getting dirty..
looking forward to wed evening.. for 2 days off work.. today is only Monday
tues nite to discuss corporate insurance product after work.. another long day.
wed is to celebrate 1 yr anniversary with the Ubi crew at sultan gate for some halal food.
although i started sun with a bad start.. very drowsy and grouchy at first. it ended with a happy note..
he just loves to irritate me with my pong face.. my chin.. being with mr panda makes me a happier person i guess. his laughter is kinda contagious.. n he likes to scare me with this ahahahwhahahah laugh which startle me sometimes n i fall for it. silly me..
i m begining to love him more.. his dog.. everything..his little cute panda family

dad prepared dinner.. its been a long time since i tasted his cooking. i was so full . i cant sit down and breathe normally.. since 9 // i was trying to digest the dinner i had.. a late dinner that i gobbled down quickly when i reach home ard 8.30pm

a veri high day after work

believe it a not my mood was super bad when my boss told me my leave was cancelled.. for sat and mon so my long weekend hopes were dashed.. had to change dates to next week 2 weekdays on thurs n fri instead
previously he cancel my leave n when i went back office. there was relief staff arranged so i hadto make a wasted trip .happened abt 2or 3 times so it made my mood super bad..n i had to clear some left over work or shit left by colleagues who went on leave till 7.30.by the time i shopped with panda n family was almsot 8.. luckily banana pass me this pan fried salmon to me.. that her mum packed for her if not sure super hungry and angry..
so this evening . mr panda sms me to tell me if i want to join him for sheng song..shopping so although i was a bit xian liao but then.. after the 1hr the hypermart my mood become super high..

so at first i was still sour over the fact that my boss is quite kuku and then after the spree. my mood super high.. although it was not my house of groceries..

secret to tasty stir fried vegetables.. lee kum kee panda brand oyster sauce.. yummy..
manage to cook some decent soup.. fried french beans with oyster sauce
white carrot with some pork ribs and red carrot..
went to shop and save earlier for some groceries, bought fresh milk, tomatoes , lettuce and a new Italian sauce.. it taste pretty decent.. sour vinegar which is more healthy than the usual thousand island sauce or coleslaw sauce i usually eat..
hohoho i prepared 2 shares .. tat is mr panda has to be forced to eat more tomatoes which he usually dun like..
hehehe so nice.. everything seems so healthy the only meat i had was some pork. the rest were all vegetables..
the tuna i bought was like so cheap 3 @ $5.95 average about $2 per can..
looking forward to the hiking trip to henderson park.. sounds cool and fun.. will pack some sandwiches as well ... healthy sun..
as usual things went back as per normal.. boss is not around . and shes at head office
but sharleen got into a complain n this customer wrote in to our business head.. sigh..
well i shall cross my fingers and wait for citibank's reply..
since the job scope is similiar i shall compare on the remuneration.. and the environement.. shall walk in n spy spy a bit.. next mon
lsb suggested that we go cycling on mon and bra shopping @ tampines.. so high .thinking that i got new bra..
shopping list includes a better comfortable bolster and perhaps 2 new bedsheets..

its been quite a long day
been knocking off average at abt 8 everyday this week.
thank god i have a long weekend this week coz tis sat and the following mon i m not working
today's considered an early dismissal.. knock of at about 7.30 but due to some road works. there was still a jam n i only reached home ard 8.15.
so after the cooking and preparation,, i manage to finish the dishes and have my dinner at 9
its easy frying a fish.. had to redo it a few times.. coz the fish was cooked on the outside but raw on the inside..
nevertheless the result turned out ok.
quite motivated to try new dishes from the cook book i borrowed from nlb
maybe can try white turnip soup. ribs.
cooking is quite fun but can quite messy when mishandled
citibank just called me to offer their position of first impression officer. they had a brief phone interview with me earlier in the evening
halfway through i could answer the call during operation hours. so i called them back and one of the ppl answered and told me there was no such person
after that that person called me back again after work. she asked me a couple of question..
cross my fingers then .. but i think i stand a high chance...

hot day

hotday today.. sweat like a pig.. dad was so blur earlier , was in bukit timah almost so near to msia custom, realize dun no passport with him.
the ba ku teh i had was not really fantastic. but we did have some great buy. have some durians.. lookin forward to massage @ true spa later in the evening . hopefully to catch a short nap before that coz i was so hooked to drama last nite. slept abt about 5odd this morning.
bleah . panda is so inflexible sometimes ..
tml will be meeting the folks for dinner for fathers day sharing the adult head count cost..

finally after one hour or so in the kitchen and the trip to chinatown . i finished a homecooked lunch for my dad n panda.. cooking for the 2 men i have in the house.
so much for today, brocoli , carrot , mushroom, and prawn
steamed cod fish with ginger, tomato, mushroom, preserved plum, parsley leaves
and a fried kai lan.
results of the cooking were well received by all , i guess dad is now convinced that i wont mess up his kitchen for once.
and for a beginer i believe i was ok in terms of the taste , presentation and flavours of how the various materials were matched.
dad ate finished the rice and recook a new set. hhahaaha my cooking were commented to be better than my bro's maid.. hahah way to go
i m quite motivated to try another new dish since i got a cook book for simple dishes on hand. i m glad that i did not go forward to attend cooking class today. its hand on would not have been fun experimenting on my own
