next goal is to pay off all instalment plan.. never believe in instalment although short run u r not so tight . long run i think its still better to keep a clean bill of expenses

projected saving by numbers would be to cut variable spending after settling epp ( o % instalment plan in 2010 by about 10 % )
e.g avg of 4 cars estimated -20%
meaning currently e.g $800 for 4 cards
$200 per card
to keep to $500 for 4 cards
avg $125 per card

which will in turn increase factors like disposable income, increase variable income such of OT
hoping to bring in extra of avg $500 if i clock in OT whick makes me a even higher 3..
assuming variable expenses decrease n gradually increase in disposable in terms of variable income
to achieve about 15k in 2 yrs
each month equates to 625 per mth

meaning OT variable ( avg $500 + original income at least $200 ) will earn me at least 10k aft i work with citiphone shift team..
which can also be derived as ( shift allowance $500 + $150 )
= 650 x 24 = 15,600

which oso can be derived as no more big ticket items for the next 24 items, extravagant holiday trips and luxury expenses..

therefore korea/japan trip could be eliminated from the list..

submited mc on boxing day.. due to sore throat.. i wasnt tat sickly during festive season a yr ago..
shift makes people weaker ..
received dumb bells for tis yr xmas exchange.. panda had a award winning chocolate.. which i swope with him.. as usual award winning chocolate was finished for the whole bunch..
played mahjong in maureen's place with the gals n the respective gf. nt bad for a first timer for sister merry william n maureen..

i welcome a break...
today is nothing close to smooth sailing
productivity is bad. call sucks.. call ranges from 30min till 40 mins for some on a stretch of calls
i sound unconfident n nasty ppl continue to hammer on me..only consolation is a little bowl of tangyuan n house drama to be happy n relieved

2nd day of work after a 10day work

i been living like a vampire for the past 3 months. n i told myself to watch lesser drama at night after i finish my a4 shift and try to behave like a normal person. its e time ... more weddings more babyshowers.. angbaos. gifts .presents. time of they yr to give and share..
kids r growing up.. aunties uncles getting older.. ah gong getting slower oso sometimes
working on a sunday wasnt tat bad..
if only panda stop rubbing it in.. n hao lian that he has a long weekend.. maybe i would think less negatively about myself. my work
it has been quite a boring 10 day break although i didnt went overseas as what most of my colleagues thought i would.
i spent the break behaving normally. having dinner at the prime time.. watching movies on weekday. having a little jog with lsb
on 18th i went over to one of my colleague 's place for midnite steamboat. guess i m not titanium stomach afterall. spent the weekend nibbling on the small portions of food around..
manage to squeeze time for a family outing which is quite last min on a sun afternooon .. when i had to work at 2pm.. bro worm came along.. at abt 8am.. n after praying at the temple ( huan tai sui ) my bro3 had to shake bro worm off.. n we proceeded to windsor hotel for porridge buffet lunch..
for a 3 star hotel.. price was cheap abt $15 per head..
n for a big family like mine..
total about $127 for about 7 adults and 3 kids.. though there were total of 5.. 2 were toddlers.
by 1.. the eatery was flooded with many senior adults n many families.. quite chatty environement.. all the families were filled with young kids and screaming brats
fri 19th i brought jianhao to wild wild wet.. n after the steamboat i still had this loose bowel syndrome.. n despite bringing the kid to the wild wild wet.. the mac.. the acrade nxt come the .. question..

i tot it was very rude for a young kid to demand for a gift.. its different when u ask nicely to request ppl to..
i dun remember myself demanding gifts when i was younger.. my parents aint rich in the first place .. kids r different now.. toys that they play were high tech oso.. i wonder hw we manage in the past when we had no sms.. no handphone.. only pager. n when we r in the middle of the movie or on the way home.. we always had to wait till we get home then we contact the other party.. haha

he borrowed my netbook.. n i was soused to having internet access n when i dun.. its a bit xian.. i have norturnal working lifestyle n when i dun get that "feel of closeness or " connection " that my frens r virtually online

my last sun before i have a regular weekend off

today is 13 dec 2009... the next round of at least one weekend off is on may 2010 n june 2010 according to step down schedule..
i miscalulate the outings. i thought i could arrange but somehow i overlooked that this month is a festive month . friends , family go on holiday. which is why some gatherings have to be postphoned.
as such i can only prioritise with friends that are still in singapore or rather make it in our contraint schedule..
i did a cleanup on my little sty.. washed the clothes by hand as there was not much to laundry as well
over my break
watched house season 1... completing 2 -5 soon i guess late night watching.. = waking up later in the afternoon followed by some catch up with lsb.. kopi with dad
afterall booking a holiday last min aint going to get me cheap airfare tickets.
i guess working in a shift has another thing to take note. my holidays so i wont sort of waste it when i m nt working.
find time to do something i dun get to do usually .. like having dinner with family, friends. find panda to disturb.. n the list goes on
attended shiyun's wedding on 11 dec @ novotel was interesting..
didnt expect a see a michael jackson beat it dance.. or a duet between this couple
before they can be the highlight of this once in a lifetime event..
we have the1) $ preparation 2) the bicker n fight theory 3) lastly if we can get along with the family between both parties..
then after a long long journey.. both has to realize .. this he / she is someone we want to stick with for a long long time together well almost perpetually or at least the old line.. till death do us apart.
kenneth who was the bride groom did this speech that was quite old school that he thanked the ppl who help to cordinate the wedding.. assure the parents as well as new parents. he would not let them down by taking gd care of their daughter nw in his hands..
they seemed happily in love on stage at least for that moment i guess the lady or the bride is always @ the brightest and prettiest.. hoho
well the moody part of being away on festive season i guess sets in prettier sooner on next sun whimthis 6 days from now so instead of harping that i have got 6 mths before a weekend holiday
things to be happy about
i got a new colleague.. which is oso my lsb.. we can knock at each other cubicle n mute the button n complain about the " usual "
i can stilll continue to slack at home n dun bother about the follow up on next sun
i get to enjoy my birthday at least.. attend a fren wedding which is part of a gathering
have dinner with my ex colleagues who r oso fellow shifters in their respective branches after much cancelled n postphoned gatherings
ok la.. nw i oso realize most shifters plan on their off day.. i will work out something to cheer myself up with my fellow shifters in time
its a matter of time i get numb with working on holidays.. my dad , bro 2 n bro 3 did the same at least for 10 yrs.. or more. so as part of the family blood i tink i can manage as well
so far things at work. i still get the occassional hiccups n last min compliance email that i did some mistakes.. however its part of a transition i know. my bosses n colleagues r still as encouraging as usual.. in the shift team. people do help me.. n one of the intern helped me fix my screw up for miscalulating the no of days insured for a travel insurance
n ppl do help me.. theres some warmth among the new birds..
well..everyone see each other as better of each other sometimes. but for each choice we make in career or some family commitment like having kids or getting married or having a bf does take up some of our commitment respectively.
as such i m nt really disappointed that some of my gatherings that i organise need to be postphoned.
among ivy n may. we cancelled about 3-5 times beforew e finalise to meet up this friday n thurs coz they r in shift schedule which makes it more challenging to plan outing to match everyone 's timing..
attended seoul out concert with panda.. with jasmine 's vip tic to watch this sundown concert in fort canning.. i would say panda really utilise the worth of this vip ticket which is believed to be worth of $180 haha..
although we had to stand on this place to view at the sunrise cafe. it was still better off sitting on the grass feeding mozzies
hahahahha... we still had a great time although i was a bit paiseh to grab the freebies coz being the vip area we had this freeflow of liqour like volka red bull since red bull is one of the sponsorers
some korean food.. korean drink aloe vera.. n yoguru.. i pity the part time gal who had to climb stairs to bring the yogurts to us without us the " vips" having to queue up n pay for it
hehe.. panda is skipping his RT.. pon tan hoho..
dad is still babysiting @ bro's place.. hohoh

watched10 promises i make to my dog.. touching show. rented e dvd n was glad to watch the show with panda ...

the sick boy was in bed n was having a fever n lau sai after b eing exposed in the sun for some time while we were washing his car xiao hong in the afternoon

random thoughts that i had suddenly

i was like too enjoying my little break..
call centre is gd $ but i cant stay for too long.. the rosy pay will drown me..tried the graveyard shift..
somehow i think i m missing out on someting .. maybe its called some life..
6 months before i get a weekend off ... someting diferent from office hours besides going to work at 4pm n knocking off at 12 midnight..maybe i m just not used to the timing yet.. oh perhaps these few days of slacking at home set me thinking if i m in this type of nourturnal lifestyle in the long run

going for morning shift after 1 yr in shift team

switch to department aft 2 yrs..

or.. hop to a regular job aft i get really sick of being in call centre environment..

for shiyun wedding. i got to tender this leave 2 mths in advance.

n for a supervisor i know oso intended to move on aft 5 yrs..

i dun tink i made a wrong choice to be in shift .. but its just now now i m getting a bit sick of the routine oso..
n miss those days of a extended long holiday where a regular job is entitled to ..

will pend for a while.. to think about it
i m afterall nt in a while to settle down yet.. so i guess 1 or 2 yrs of being such environment wont do me much harm except that i might age a little . spend lesser time with panda n family n get scolded more on the phone. haha

n of coz shift work has its own advantages like ppl r working.. i m snoozing away n panda always finds a way to sneak out n we have like tiramisu @ bio polis.. hes supposedto be at his client's research lab while we sneak out n pig out hohoho
