To summarise the first quarter of 2012, finally found some purpose in my career. tried direct sales after completing my part time studies.. Problems encountered in 2012 sick of DP CS role initially Found Reed Elsevier.. Eguide as a account manager but realise I m not pushy enough as a direct sales. After 3 weeks found a CSO role with Great Eastern Life.. One big round and viola back to financial institution, this time poorer arm of the Bank cousin.. Mother co of OCBC. The culture is similar to OCBC, systems and people managing. Thoughts after 1 month in the call centre compared to Citi, DP and OCBC SA Role GEL more work life balance. slightly higher pay but not the best. Nice colleagues so far within the same floor.. Supportive bosses as I can tell as of current. Quite a stable environment, proven with many working mothers. Cons. Difficult to take leave. MC and AL is controlled tightly with min manpower. Younger colleagues tend to have higher turnover rate. After a week of gorging, its time to revert back to reality. Back to the call centre, this time picking up independently.. Upcoming goals.. Still struggling with weight issues Action Plan, increasing intensity, motivation to go Amore for classes to tone up Counting down to Dec 2012 -> Get GEL confirmation Jan 2013 - May 2013 -> Secure AL for days to settle with studio Finalise wedding vendors to work with April- May 2013 -> Settle bridal photo taking June - Sept 2013 - > Intensive Planning ( u name it.. all the small little tasks which may not b my forte, but still has to be done eventually.. ) RSVP Guest List 25- 32 tables. approximately 250- 300 guests Objectives to achieve From what i view as a 3rd party perspective being jie mei for 2011 n 2012 appro 4 frens n beyond.. Marriage to me after attending X no of weddings so far.. is like going through the motion on that day, and the real deal starts when you start it rolling after the wedding night and beyond....
