n i settle the Letter of offer with citibank.
the spaghetti @ kohiten was not bad.another 1.5day to a break haha

mon will be coming in 3 days.. so looking forward to the 1 week break
thats kumar my friendly cisco in my branch whos been like my " rumoured bf in the branch coz i buy lunch for him and also we video the little fat boy whose so oblivious that hes lying on the bank sofa face down like his own house. i 've seen his uniform, btw hes lucas liew. hahaha
so as because there are not much people in the branch we decide to video an episode of the naughty g version.. the kumar noti G version in ubi branch

chillicrab day

its been a long day cooking , cooking and more cooking cooking a storm in the kitchen and whipping up delicious tasty dishes in the kitchen on a Sunday evening.. together with me is Maureen and sister merry oso william. whos been helping me out in the kitchen
finally everything is done. dad is now pigging out the remaining of the chilli crab. he reheated everything up and is now savouring the rest of it.. hehe
maureen also woke up very early today to meet me to go Chinatown to buy crab
its a good experience knowing how to kill crab in the most humane method
was quitea fun experience doing a challenging dish . could have even done better i guess
dad commented the crab was good
in fact i felt that it could be better. coz the gravy unfortunately was almost dried up
my next cuisine that i would be experimenting would be Thai cuisine. northern Indian and Mediterranean style dishes..
i am lookingforward to my new office in millemia tower.. how nice.. especially at night when the night is so still and quiet

just went to little india to did a whole face threading. feels good my face is hairless and that includes my little chin as well and my mostache is gone. the whole session was quite relaxing except that occasionally the sensitive parts were more painful
last nite i had dinner with stepmother . heard that shes being asked to leave .. the bank was so cruel but they are being realistic also. they only keep people who are productive.
today the spy colleague came up to me and try to peep what i was trying to do at the computer. well its time to make a decison once my new boss call me to sign the letter of offer . i will throw in my resignation letter and say sayonara to them in 7 working days with which i will serve my notice period and start training with citibank on 7/9/09
jsut watched the proposal.. with panda. as promised it s a heart warming chick flick that doesnt fails to melts anyone 's heart in the theatre
i brought my dad out together . n the 3 of us. panda my dad n i went for dinenr together waited for almost 30 mins for the dishes to be done with which halfway dad was complaining n nagging how slow and inefficient he is
manage to play with this ufo catcher n we won this monkey cushion which i brought it in iluma theatre n watch it with me earlier
we called this monkey ma lau cushion.. yoyo..
hehehe kinda happy. coz its the first time i fish out someting from the gaming arcade centre
n i guess panda is as thrilled as much as i was when i c it drop it at the collection point.. hohohohohoh

1 hr queue for this chicken rice @ blk 704 bedok reservoir rd.. so so taste..the one at ubi 350 is tastier
was happy that i got the support from panda..will be awaiting the green light to tender to ocbc.. must wait for citibank hr to do the formalities to secure the LO first

a lousy day for dinner

I must say I m really disappointed with Astons Specialties ( the Cathay branch) this evening when i was joining in the queue for dinner today. As my friends were going to be late , i decided to join in the wait together with the others.Despite the long queue, I thought it was still well worth my time but then i was proven otherwise
I have waited for a good 15-20mins around 8-8.30pm before i was told that the minimum is 2 dine in in order to secure a seat in the restaurant, the middle aged lady who was at the entrance told me that it was the company policy, personally i took it in offence because i thought that since Astons was such an established franchise and I have more than once also recommended my friends to patronise the eatery. After this evening 's conversation with the service staff at the Cathay outlet , it made me skeptical whether i should want to continue to support such a business that such policy that was quite unreasonable.
I was intending to have a small table and not hogging for a table of 4 or affecting the business turnover. It was simply not acceptable because in the first place minimum of 2 dines was not visibly displayed at the restaurant. Moreover i have friends joining me as well who were going to be late. Does it imply that the restaurant do not welcome my business or their policy is to serve only people in big groups.
I have personally read their story in their company website on how they started humbly and grew to a chain of outlets and so forth, to offer western cuisine at affordable prices but in terms of service , i think by turning away single diners, it was very impolite and insensitive . They could have offered me alternatives like takeaways or to suggest a smaller table for me as I could have continued to render my support to such an established household brand.Firstly i wasted my time waiting and then the service staff at the entrance was not being flexible and polite. And as for service , i am really displeased with such a policy that the company has. I think after such an experience with Aston Specialties service at the Cathay, i would not want to patronise such a restaurant again.

manage to scrape thru citibank interview..
completed the tasks i wanted to.. bought a cake for him collected it n bought chicken rice up his place for lunch
tidy up his place and watched dragonball .. went to secret garden for dinner although the cod fish was quite a disappointment ,, wat a joke i complain to panda that i was still hungry so after which we headed to the pizza place a corner stall from secret garden..
i realize i havent done much writing for the past few entries . feels funny but the pictures speak a thousand words. met up with ivy and jasmine on sun in bugis for fish soup. n then berylite for yogurt in iluma. time flies.havent had lunch with them for almost 1 yr odd now.had codfish for dinner cost me $30 for a small piece but its didnt fill me.
had to go this corner pizza place instead. its a value meal @ $8.80 but it reinforces the dinner i had. despite all , the ambience was good except that i left for a second round for pizza. tat wicked man is laughing at me for paying such a premium..
tat i can buy cod fish at the market n cook for less tha n $30 n whip potato from 7-11 for less than $2..i was commenting that he looked abit gay on one of the pics featured
was in the meeting room with hiring manager at citibank millemia tower for almost one hour. will only know if i get hired by end of this week , what along wait . as i compete with other individuals.
if i get hired , of course i believe its a gd transition coz in terms of banking portfolio it would bea good progression because the sibel software that we are currently using is quite out of date. The hiring manager is June, she told me for fresh hire for a start , we would get 3 weeks of training for the 2 unsecured products . ready credit and product briefiing on the various cards
next comes the challenging part , currently my turn around time is 2min, the targeted timing for me to wrap up the call is 300secs which is 5mins, i just have to cross my fingers i guess,if i get the job it also means i lose out on my social life and time to my family and loved ones. its like a tough choice to make
but by looking at the monetary rewards, my take home can hit 3k,, which is equally tempting as well

its been a weekend.. had 2 days of work since sat..now i m slacking infront of my desktop in my cozt little room. borrowed these 2 ghost stories from the nlb earlier
sat- klunch @ cinileisure with lsb someting which i havent go out with her for a while for a few weekends
trim my messy blob of hair and did a new hair color.. red orange brown. turned out quite dark for me.. only turns grape red under the spot light
had dinner with panda @ ps riverside indon.. dvd at his place
sun he cooked some breakfast n we ate while watching Juno in the room. took wang wang for a morning walk .. chill at tan quee lan st with the ex JS colleagues . went to the library n i decide to nua at home ..
at a hard time locating Dr cafe @ B2-09. ion is huge.. n its also quite crowded had to approach this security guard for assistance to my destination.. so paiseh..
time to chill in my little armchair to read russell's lee book 14 & 15 true ghosts stories series...
nice n clean after a cold shower..
dad must be so mad.. no one's home to support his pot of pig leg n lor bak... hahahah maybe i shall try some later for dinner .
