today is panda 's convocation. class of 2010. when i first knew him he was only in 2nd year and then shortly after 1.5 years. lots of grueling and hard work.

today after attending it and the speech of the fellow student tells a lot of stories.
unisim graduates are mainly working adults and some even had kids. gray hairs falling apart. It was equal, some were working mothers, parents and had to study during the wee hours after the kids were asleep and they did what was necessary to complete it.
i was proud of panda as well. when i saw his transcript, he also had his fair share of failure, he knew he had to make it if not it was a waste of his efforts. n together with his bunch of studying khakis they strive and motivated each other to soar high and endure the trials and challenges. One of the deans took 12 years to complete from a diploma 5 yrs . step by step. even with a family from a basic engineer assistant to the director and the md of the company.
It was not one of the best speech i ever heard. occasionally i hear some singlish or some awkward pauses. Nonetheless it was someone who had great perseverance and determination. To be able to go this far is something that i hope to achieve too.
it was a long ride and quite a full day from unisim to aloha chalet. wang wang was also present. i had a good time mingling with panda 's family, cousin, bla bla.
zhu zhu also introduced his girl friend who turned out to be the gal next door. quite different from the sister though.
hopefully things work out well for zhu zhu . she is shy , domesticated. seems like a good wife material.
another 1 month to school.
i am not particually excited or worried now, but completing it seems so far away.
