Hi Kylinn,

Good morning!

This is to express my displeasure for the poor service follow up rendered
for a $489 claim submitted in Mar 2012. The second part is on the same
duplicate claim form mailed to us again on 5 May 2012 to complete items
which we have already mailed out. Referring to previous email, we have to
provide you the soft copy which proves our submission earlier. For a period
of Mar12 - Aug 2012 for pending MR from Pasir Ris polyclinic, for policy
holders like us it is totally unacceptable. Also from my understanding , on
standard grounds the reimbursement should be only 7-10 working days if
submission of the mandatory documents are completed.

Understand from claims, this was passed from 1 claim officer to another
staff who is the current person handling this claim. Current status is to
pend for Pasir Ris MR report which has been updated to us since the last
email dated somewhere in July or Aug 2012.From Dec 2011 to Feb 2012, we
have to let the old man go through the routine checkups to ensure his urine
test is normal and efforts are also done on our end. We have done our part
however when event occurs, we are unable to stop such unfortunate events to
occur within the first year of insuring. As a child yourself, and as
consumer point of view, this is a disappointment. Had the sum being a
larger amount like $40,000 instead, we would have to pay from our own
pockets again and wait  5 months and still waiting for status. If $400 was
a low sum or even negligible then a hefty bill would have been taken longer
to process. Based on your recommendation, we took your advice to obtain the
best premium hospitalisation plans for private hospital claims which cost
us nearly $3000, approximately close to $1000 each sibling to fork out for
our dad , countless check-ups for my elderly dad to go through to get it
inforced.For our loved one, we took this policy despite the exclusions
which was imposed for kidney and prostate related medical conditions.

Frankly,it would be difficult for us to continue the renewal in Feb 2013 if
the first encounter with the GE  SHP P plus plan is so difficult to obtain
claim status and reimbursement. We would have no choice but to switch
insurer come Feb 2013 when it is due.


Appreciate if you could expedite and provide status for the claim on
89830540 soonest.
Otherwise we would cancel this policy when it is due for renewal in 2013.
Sincerly hope this is the last email  we have to send you or claims to get
it settled and cased closed.
