till now my boss n the cash officer is still at our new office as the system is not working normally.. we started off a long day in the branch. packing n unpacking all the new inventory. barang barang n micellanous. so my movie date eventually had to be cancelled . i had dolled up nicely to go out n have fun on friday night to meet ray but then discover i was aching all over after .so i had to fly him kite.. had my dinner at the desk with my new team.n then i had to go home n rest then// to prepare another round of packing n unpacking tml n testing the system ..
its been a fulfiling day as we furnished our second " home" from nothing to something to make everything happen
we've got to cordinate all activities together to ensure the orderlines of the operations
had a whole chunk of items to tally when the stock came in as myself , cat & I were among the first to arrive at the site
had to take some 'risk" to "sign" on some delivered items from the suppliers. We
nicely arranged those marketing collaterals to be beautifully displayed.suddenly everyone had to pitch in to play their part to "tidy " up the mess. to ensure a smooth opening of the launch on tuesday.
the contractors .. the "ah nays" stayed even later than us to clean up the area like 12plus to rush the work out
the first thing which screwed up for me was the locker, i locked my things inside when i did not take note of the sequence nt my delivery invoices were all stuck ..delayed my work. luckily lee was there to "decipher " it with the master key..shortly before lunch if nt i would be so poor then...
a few of the business heads.. again c c look look at our premies occassionally giving "some comments" n "feedback" to improve.some were more critical on the exact words to display on the electronic e-lobby . which in short terms to prim n proper.. no hidden meanings that will threaten the branding image.
with the many help which i gathered.. some were nice ppl helped me to move heavy boxes while my team members were not available then, some of the IT staff from ibm rendered some help to us by setting up our systems, mapped up the printers n servers, we were able to clear some work from our email
one of the most prized inventory we had was this intelligent conference phone which cost abt 2-3k per set.. conference calls up to 6 people.. which means we should avoid dropping this phone as it is so expensive
n a 80k intelligent coin system we had.so much about the fixtures
left the br ard 8.35pm n i was so groggy.. brain dead.. my nails chipped n i tink got to repaint again .. :p
tml will be first n a last ktv i organised with the js staff.. hopefully at the end of tomorrow. the system becomes workable n all defunct areas which have defects are slowly resolved.
slowly we shared our information among the 2 department.. be it consumer or business banking. we were together 1 team.. to ensure the product knowlege is commonly understood
one of the things i have on my mind now is to thoroughly enjoy my hk trip.. the 12hr in branch today is too much for me..
through this project i have learnt much about good collaboration,teamwork n commitment n sense of urgency to get all the things done n completed.
uncle roland has been a very kind n benevolent superior , gave us a dinner treat to reward the team for spontaneously staying behind just to ensure everything runs well..
