so far so good . my speed is picking up. i am approaching about 60 odd calls per day..
target call is about 88 i think i m doing fine.compared to the rest . although occasionally i still have trouble maker people bugging me on the phone to discount on late charges . whereas they r the ones who didnt make a single cent to the bill to give the bank a chance to slap them with late fees and compounding interest about a while i dun feel sorry for them at all. seriously they should review their own spending habits before they chalk up a huge debt...
and the smelly feet ppl.. the chow ka xiao.. omg is horrendous. i even had someone in fact a few who called at the point when they were making purchase. that the merchant decline the purchase n one of them was practically begging me to up limit their line although its already goner . cannot make it.. coz its already over limit.. to just let them go through the transaction and they promise to make payment
but the payment term stated in system .. they were practically whispering on the line.. another dispute was a $12 cab fare that turn out to be $400 odd n this person was afraid that they have her 12 nos and the unique verification code.. scare will swipe finish her card. n i was in a dilenma whether to block or not to block card. if i block liao sccare if card invalid how will the merchant be able to creditb ack her extra $ n veri funny. tis person report policce.. hahaha n 2 times she call in . i happen to route n answer her call ,so funny.. if nt atm is gd enough

rightfully if shes nt liable to charges. i jolly well offset n reverse it. n now she demands tat she no need to pay for everyting . where got such ting rite n harping for 2 hrs leh no joke . its nt a matter if i affected a nt but rahter a matter of principle//
the following request came from someone i happen to know. panda 'sfren..
n she insist tat since i m the 4th person who answer her request . the colleagues who handled before me .gave her the instruction that all over payment paid to the wrong card paid will be totally offset.. no more oweing to the bank.

so for a dispute amt of $50/. shes nt willing to pay a single cent for it although its her own fault that she made a mistake herself for nt paying full amount for it.
n out of good will i have reversed all the possible retail interest and late charge she incured .coz she underpaid for the month of july. so come aug n sept bill she incured the charges. she has to clear up whichever that was not paid.n its not someting extra she had to. i m so pissed with her attitude on the phone when she knew its her mistake to overpay to the wrong card in the first place . n she was the one herself who had confused herself on the correct n exact payment for her visa n master cards
for god sakes its nt tat shes got 10 cards n she has to pay a lot of money . its freaking 50 bucks. swipe liao still got the cheek nt to pay .
wat an unreasonable request. its not tat i m asking her to pay late charges . its her retail transaction she overlooked.

今天还在和熊猫有了这段对话, 他觉得我是有企图心重的人。在金融业日子久了不知不觉地也变了。。
势力眼很像是正常的现象，在和同事之间的相处方式也有自我防备的趋势。只有得到应有的效应就算
成功就得进取，但是我个人认为也不至于不折手段。

要在弱肉强食的环境中生存并非如此容易。不过需要一些技巧和人缘.社会的累积和适当的社交可以帮助一些。。太多反而反效果_。变回成新人。凡事谨慎为妙。。。我常常在为自己的将来铺好路。。。毕竟金融界范围很小。。点一点就那几个人换了又换也就那几间银行,风水轮流转， 也不知几时需要他人的帮忙。 不要短后路对知己比较好。
离开了一个月。。 几个星期过得特别忙碌。
每天都在追寻完美。。赶着时间。时机。把握这一切的一切
因为机会只有一次我也渐渐随着时间的流失学会很多,听到和看到的都给了我 许多启示。得来的不易。所以更要好好珍惜，把握

A2 (2-11)Day 2 shift 2/10/09

shift work is indeed tiring. i had trouble falling in bed again. n i m so used to wakin up early as well. so as usual. at ard 8am. as usual go toilet to clear toxic. n then brush my teeth n all .
bo bian.. standard timing to dua lau.. lan lan wake up for detoxification lor shift work is tiring man wonder whether the allowance can compensate for youth a nt.i m taking extra care now for my face to ensure i dun age too rapidly than 大胖...
i knew it when he had to take the initiative to make peace hahahaha. n i make him send me to work. which was unintentional coz my guide and my barang that i usually carry is quite heavy
cant imagine if iwalk all the way from shaw tower to milenmia tower. so panda drove me to millenia walk mall . i offered to pay erp for him. but nevertheless i bought meatball 3D tics by mistake. so ok la write off liao.
later i got to run the errands of going to toa payoh to deposit 2 cheqs before i start my a2 so that it can clear by mon cpz due date is on 5/10/09
if i use access its 3 working days to update transaction n sway sway may kenna late charge.. hahaha
i try to acc dad as much as i can la. maybe wake up slightly early to lim kopi with him while i got some time before A2 starts.. hehhee its a brand new day.. n i m so looking forward to fri 2300hrs. n 2340hrs .. the meatball hahahahah..

i am a bag of jitters today.5 mins before 8 my usual timing to leave house for work..

just had breakfast with dad.. tink his impression vs panda n ed is veri differeent. ed is a quiet n tao person compared to panda. panda 's more jovial n easy going which i tink is veri important that the partner gets alongwith the family if not its gonna be very difficult in the long run.
so far during the breakfast. dad seems to complain more on elephant.. in fact now hes more ok with me staying over at panda's occasionally although he feels insecure coz i m a daughter. if in the event that panda breaks off with me.. i got to bear the full liability .

i tink dad also finds it awkward to attend bro worm'swife aka elephant high tea lunch but he feels obliged to be present coz he seek consultation from grandma n auntie . that if hes not present or bro worm lunch. bro worm will be veri malu that the fammily is not there to support him..

1930hrs.. location. centre point .. level 3 bench. still waitin for panda to end his magic ritual . i find it weird to sit there n use my netbook n wait for him as well
finally went through the checklist for the exam tips and guidelines had a lot of thrashing sessions with Regene, Seetoh , and Shinhua. looks can be deceiving. shinhua although is quiet. but shes the most detailed person among the few of us. haha.
nevertheless its an interesting session thrashing with the 3 of them , trouble shooting the concepts and hot questions to be tested. so far. for my personal part . calculation remains a weak area for me. but handling nasty calls should not be too much of a problem to me. since i have prior experience in front line
regene was sharingwith me how her hsbc career was and how she met richard her husband. jsut realized how banking relationship always starts with colleagues becoz of the lack of interaction with people of different industries because of long working hours.n since bimbo couldnt get out of the ex story . she kept harping about it. and its like not doing her good either. it bores everyone and shes not focusing and paying attention to whats important now.

luckily i have a late lunch at 2.. my stomach is rumbling now. tat dumb panda is still at his weekly almost daily ritual to play magic cards with his friends.. he told me one hour. would b ready by 8 .. i m starting to get a little impatient now since today is like our anniversary n obviously tml he still got another round of his gaming freaks n i m still at this corner typing gibberish ..
coming mon i would have a mini get together with the new hires before we all go to our respective teams .. although each have their own weakness. they r generally nice people like now .. but compared to 8 teams . with an average of 10-14 , ts a totall different ball game. can only look forward to it now since i chose to leave a rosy section. gd luck to me on mon for exam and call certification day. looks like a longsunday to go through the important points. look forward to facial tomorrow. will help to clean the face thoroughly and prepare for shifters lifestyle

last second day for training .. ending of honeymoon soon

its been a long week, everything has been nothing but more gruellinhg on more system training. the new hire among my group has built a mini bond together. its been quite funny and enjoyable during class.was happy to be chilling at home on this friday night. starting from next week onwards on oct1- 0ct30 would begin my mini shift . its 2-11. at least i wont have to squeeze with the conventional rush hours OLs but then again . days of honeymoon will be over soon.
i m looking forward to it but i m also worried abt it.
peiling whose sister is in the previous batch was commenting the first 3 days is torturous. its indeed a frightening thought.
i m supposed to touch on the notes and the screen training tomorrow but i simply have no mood to study them.
the fries @ everting with fries was gd. except that i find the portion a bit small. but nevertheless panda n i decide to try it.
today we were so bored in class that the boys.. xiang xiang and rick were doing the challenge on how many highlighter u can stack haha.

today is veri difficult day to get by. training by powerpoint slides for system training is super boring.
nevertheless i managed to scrape through the day with subway double chocolate chip n oatmeal rasin cookie bought from lunch
my password n id is ready for use. had to do a demo in clas. luckily i m coping ok
shinhwa is quite a weird character. shes super quiet thats one thing. n since shes so shy she never ask when in doubt.
n then shes so sensitive. i dunno how to communicate with her . it seems that small things she gets offended tat we seem to be offensive. i try my best no to talk too much to her then since shes so petty no point talking much then
in a new environment. i believe its important to be humble.attentive to adapt to the working culture.
so far i observed most of the citi bankers are workoholics. they really loveed to drink and smoke outside harrys bar..
i hope i wont end up like one of them.. the happy hour seems to be quite popular though over there. was planning after monday's paper a gd chill out would be good with the new hires since after we grad from training. we wont have much opportunity since all 6 of us are in different teams .except seetoh and myself
i dun wish to retake the trraining or retake the exam
on the other hand if i clear it. it will be tha start of a battlefield
i was walking in citilink last evening. n i bump into tiongboon. aw his cute 1.52m gf. she looks tiny beside tb whose 1.85m haha, so no mood to memorise all the credit card bin no.. arggh.. got to memorise and be familiar by sun morning.. how sad.

a bit of retail therapy ro update my collection of shoes

hehe i bought 2 pairs of shoes after work today @ bugis street
firstly i took a glance at citilink. then bugis junction then finally i decide to go for 2 pairs of cheap shoes instead of 1 pair of expensive one.
the eclipse and fisherman are my key to staying awake for today's lesson. after a long weekend. usually the brain malfuntion and switch off
the F1 race is on this fri sat and sun. i took a longer route to work in stead of taking 133 directly to centennial tower and crossing the road. i alighted at bugis and walk to millenia tower from shaw tower. took me about 10 min .. i walked a lot today
n just now when i apply moisturiser earlier i realize how dark my eyebags are.i tinki better sleep early to prevent myself from upgrading from a tanned pig porkie to a mini panda. today still got homework to do.. next mon is already exam.. got to start revision soon
must be equipped with the right skills and knowledge so i will be confident and competent in handling all sorts of fraudulent transaction with ease
